And the Yorúbà people (part of my own African ancestry), descendants of ancient Kemet who carried this wisdom with them through forced migration and genocide, preserved these cosmic teachings in the form of the Orishas — divine forces of nature that I’ve traced back to the very planets we read today.

What February Revealed

February 2026 was a lot. Eclipse season kicked off, Mercury went retrograde in Pisces, the conjunction of Obalúayé and Olókun — ancient representations of Saturn and Neptune — shook the foundation of everything we thought we understood, and the Fire Horse year arrived and closed out the shedding we’ve gone through during the Year of the Snake.
