Just dropping in to share a gem from the village. After a recent, powerful conversation with one of our folks, we felt moved to pass along this excerpt from Latham Thomas' piece in our very first issue, The Manifesto. May it land exactly where it’s needed.
With love, always. ♥️

Your uterus is a sacred portal to the past, present and future. It’s the creative matrix from which all things manifest are born: our babies, our visions, our dreams...
The Womb and Dreams Unrealized
I want you to consider for a moment that your womb is wise. [I've mentioned] that it conceives and holds our dreams…but what if our dreams never become manifest? What if we put our dreams and goals, our deepest desires, on hold — where do they go?
What if this practice of putting the needs of others first — instead of mothering ourselves first — forces us to leave the seeds of our dreams dormant, without nurturing, in our wombs?
I see fibroids as dreams unrealized, bundles of magic in suspended animation — left un-birthed and anchored in the womb.
The body will hold on to what we do not give it permission to release. What are you holding onto that you need to give rise to? What is preventing you from bringing your dreams into reality?
We must clear the womb: make space for that dream or desire to be born, or make peace with it, and release it. Sometimes, the pure acknowledgement that we have left something abandoned is an entry point to helping the body heal.
